Kerstin

As a myoreflex therapist, artist, and PhD researcher, Kerstin holds a deep reverence for the human body and the art of movement. Her holistic approach seamlessly integrates teaching, therapy, art, and introspection.

With her calm demeanor, extensive qualifications, and innate ability to address physical sensitivities, Kerstin brings smiles to people's faces after each class or session. Originally a musician, she embarked on a journey as a choreographer and dancer before immersing herself in the study of various body-mind disciplines across the United States, Europe and the Pacific.

She is a passionate researcher and has published a variety of articles in scientific journals ranging from queer-feminist ecosomatics, embodied cognition, and practice-led research.

The main focus is on myofascial work grounded in Myoreflex Therapy. This unique method enables her to assist clients in regaining pain-free, full range of movement. Kerstin spearheads the Viennese school for Embodied Myoreflex Practice, collaborating with the Zentrum für Interdisziplinäre Therapien Konstanz and ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival.

Andreas

Andreas thrives on nurturing relationships, whether with people or animals. If there's laughter resonating in a group, you'll see Andreas in the midst.

With a background in advertising and project realization, Andreas finds joy in hosting guests, and loves for getting his hands dirty on the ongoing gardening and other projects at Tenuta di Poggiolame. As Bennie and Claudi's devoted running companion, he continues to refine his talent for communicating with canines and horses.

Volunteers

There is a constant ebb and flow of volunteers from all over the world on our farm. We appreciate deeply the support and cultural exchange that goes along with it.

Our animals

Bennie, our peace-loving Labradoodle, serves as a therapeutic assistant and an expert stick finder. He provides excellent emotional support and is a role model for a chilled life style.

Claudi, our young lagotto romagnolo, seems to have jumped out of a cartoon. Always fun, bouncy, and sometimes a little rascal. He is also a great cuddle companion and Fred the cat's best friend.

The cats Fred, Ginger and Nero are reigned by queen Lulu who is who is a longhaired beauty respected by all living creatures on the farm.

Our chickens are often undervalued and are a delight to anyone who spends time with them.
