What makes Artis Umbria unique is our artistic mindset that we apply to everything we do. How to do something is what we care for. In dance and movement, we want participants to be able to make informed decisions on how to relate to and use the material. We advocate self-care and responsibility. We work with embodied and relational intelligence and de-colonise our thinking by exposing the human claim to superiority. Art is the practice of revolution.
ImPulsTanz Country Retreats
ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival is Europe's biggest festival for contemporary dance. The collaboration with this special partner allows us to bring the most renowned international dance and somatic teachers to Artis Umbria.
